A 24-year-old Peterborough woman is facing fraud charges following two incidents at a local grocery store.
It was reported to police that on August 14, 2017 and again on August 16, 2017 a woman entered a Brock Street grocery store without any property on her person, selected new items off the shelves then used a receipt to return the items she had not originally paid for.
Through the investigation the woman was identified. On August 21, 2017 officers attended a Peterborough residence where, as a result of the investigation, the woman was arrested.
Ginalisa Fusco, 24, of George Street North, is charged with fraud under $5,000 X2 and fail to comply with a probation order X2.
The accused was held in custody and appeared in court on August 21, 2017.
