Male in custody following investigation at Victoria Park

A male has been taken into police custody in relation to the investigation at Victoria Park. Police are not looking for any further suspects. The investigation is ongoing and further details will be released when available.

At approximately 1:30 a.m. on September 27, 2017 police and EMS attended Victoria Park in the City of Peterborough for an injured male. The adult male was taken to a Toronto based hospital with serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing. The public is asked to remain out of Victoria Park, located between Murray Street and Brock Street, for the police investigation until further notice (NOTE: The park has since re-opened).
