Do you know this person? Police looking for public assistance in ongoing theft investigation

The Peterborough Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a third person in an ongoing theft investigation.

On August 24, 2017 at approximately 5 p.m. a female entered the Chemong Road Walmart, selected electronics off the shelves, removed the electronic security devices from the items, concealed the items in a bag she was carrying and then exited the store without making any attempts to pay for the items. The total value of the theft is more than $500. The female was last seen entering the passenger side of a red Ford Ranger pick-up truck Ontario licence plate AF71119 driven by a male.

The suspect is described as (please see photos below):

  • Female
  • Caucasian
  • Mid-thirties in age
  • Approx. 150 lbs.
  • Black hair
  • Tattoos on her left shoulder
  • Pink tank top
  • Black ripped leggings
  • Carrying a large pink bag
  • Left area in a red Ford Ranger pick-up truck with Ontario licence plates AF71119
