Thursday October 5, 2017 – Peterborough man arrested on a warrant

Warrant Arrest:
The Peterborough Police Service has arrested a 20-year-old man on a warrant.

On September 22, 2017 a warrant was issued for the accused, Evan Taylor Barry, 20, of no fixed address, Peterborough, for the charges of fail to comply with a probation order X2.

On October 4, 2017 the accused was located in the area of Anson Street where he was arrested on the warrant. During the search incident to arrest a quantity of marijuana was located on the accused. He was subsequently charged with possession of a schedule II substance (Marijuana under 30 grams).

The accused was held in custody and appeared in court on October 4, 2017.

Unlocked Vehicles:
The Peterborough Police Service reminds residents to keep their vehicles locked at all times.

Sometime on October 3, 2017 unknowns suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle parked at a Herman Street address and stole a wallet containing ID, credit cards and money.
