The Peterborough Police Service Auxiliary Unit is proud to offer the Homeguard Inspection Program. This free program allows community members to take an active role in making their home less susceptible to criminal activity.
The program involves a member of our Auxiliary Unit coming to your home and conducting a home security audit. The audit will include examining the doors, windows and the exterior of your home looking for any areas that may be susceptible to a break and enter. A written report is then provided to the homeowner detailing potential improvements, for maximum safety.
Officers often recommend Homeguard Inspections to victims of a break and enter, or domestic violence, but anyone can request an inspection.
Residents can request an appointment for an inspection by completing our on line form Homeguard Inspection Program or by calling the Peterborough Police Service Victim Services Unit at 705-876-1122 Ext 268
