Wednesday December 13, 2017 – Peterborough woman facing charges following dispute with roommate

On December 12, 2017 the Peterborough Police responded to a downtown address regarding two roommates who were fighting. Investigation revealed that a verbal dispute had ensued over noise in the apartment when one of the roommates picked up a frying pan and threatened to kill the other roommate. When Police arrived the roommate was still in possession of the frying pan and they were taken into custody without incident.

Charged with Utter Threats to Cause Death and Bodily Harm, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Fail to Comply with Probation is a 23 year old female from Peterborough. The accused was held in custody and will appear in court on the 13th December 2017.

The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
