Details

October 11, 1985, Bigras was last spoken to by her mother. At the time she was going to hitchhike to Warkworth Institution located near Warkworth Ontario, Canada to visit her boyfriend but she never arrived.

5’7”, 130 lbs. Medium build, short reddish brown hair, green eyes wearing a red ski jacket, blue jeans or crème or yellowish pants, white sweater and beige cowboy boots, carrying a green soft vinyl purse with a white shoulder strap.

Details

When Marilyn NEELY went missing she was driving a 1975 Dodge Dart. This vehicle was located on September 23, 1983 on the Five Point Trail access road approximately 11 km west of hwy #507 at a car park. That same day a female matching her description was observed walking west along the road from that location. She has not been seen since.

In the early morning hours of November 12, 1975 there were two fires in the downtown area of Peterborough. One at the King George Hotel (now The Purple Rooster) at 172 Simcoe Street, Peterborough and the other fire was at the New Grand Hotel (now Sin City) at 295 George Street.

 

The fire at the New Grand Hotel was directly responsible for the death of Hubert Allen who was age 70 years at the time of the fire and a resident at the Hotel. Two persons were wanted for questioning in regards to this investigation. They had been at Fullers Restaurant which had been located in Peterborough Square shortly after the fire was reported.

  1. Male, white, age 22-24 yrs.collar length black hair, almost a shag but tapered, broad shoulders, 5’7”, 175 lbs. was wearing blue jean jacket.
  2. Male, white, age 19-20 years, blonde streaky hair, 5’3” or 5’4”, 140 lbs. wearing a beige jacket.
