On Wednesday, February 22, 2012, shortly after midnight, a male suspect entered the Evinrude Centre on Monaghan Road. Once inside the suspect went into the men’s change room and allegedly stole three sets of car keys and approximately $100.00 in cash. A witness questioned the suspect in the change room and followed the suspect as he left the building. Once outside, the witness observed the male toss the keys on the ground, then watched the suspect drive away. The witness retrieved the keys, which were returned to their rightful owners, and called Police.

As a result of the investigation Scott David Jolley, 39 years old, of Terrace Road, was arrested and charged with theft under $5000.00. He was held in custody and will appear in Court later today.

On February 2, 2012, at approximately 1:38 pm, witnesses called Police after observing a vehicle driving erratically in the area of Otonabee Drive and Middlefield Road. A short time later officers checked the vehicle in the area Middlefield Road.

As a result of the investigation Yvon L.
