Tuesday March 13, 2018 – Peterborough man charged following two-vehicle collision at Lansdowne and Aylmer Street

Impaired/Over 80mg Arrest:
A 35-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges including impaired driving following a Monday night motor vehicle collision.

On March 12, 2018 at approximately 11:25 p.m. police were dispatched to the intersection of Lansdowne and Aylmer Streets for a two-vehicle collision.

While speaking with one of the drivers officers noted an odour of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver’s breath. A subsequent breath sample revealed the driver had more than three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.

As a result of the investigation Scott Andrew Mount, 35, of Erskine Avenue, was arrested and charged with impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with more than 80mgs blood alcohol content.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on April 5, 2018
