Friday June 8, 2018 – Peterborough man charged with break-in at Townsend Street business

Break and Enter Arrest:
A 24-year-old Peterborough man has been arrested and charged following a break-in at a Townsend Street business.

Shortly after 5 a.m. on June 5, 2018 officers attended a business on Townsend Street after receiving a report that a window at the business had been smashed. Officers were also provided a description of the male suspect. Through the investigation the male suspect was identified.

At approximately 9:45 a.m. that same day officers located the suspect outside an Aylmer Street address where as a result of the investigation he was placed under arrest.

Brandon Wayne Kelly, 24, of Stewart Street, is charged with break and enter.

The accused was held in custody and appeared in court on June 5, 2018.

Break and Enter: Parkview Drive
The Peterborough Police Service is investigating following a break-in at a Parkview Drive home.

On June 5, 2018 at approximately 11:45 a.m. the complaints left their Parkview Drive residence. When they returned at 12:45 p.m. they discovered their home had been broken into through a locked door. During the break-in several pieces of jewellery were stolen.

Break and Enter: Fortye Drive
The Peterborough Police Service is asking anyone with information to come forward following a break-in at a Fortye Drive residence.

Sometime between 10:40 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on June 5, 2018 unknown person(s) broke into a Fortye Drive home. Once inside the suspect(s) stole various pieces of jewellery and a quantity of cash.
