Impaired Arrest:
A 25-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges including impaired driving following a two-vehicle collision earlier in May.

On May 19, 2018 at approximately 2 a.m. officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision in the area of Park and Murray Streets. It was reported that a truck travelling in that area had struck a parked car. While speaking to the male driver of the suspect vehicle officers noted an odour of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver’s breath.

A subsequent breath test revealed the driver had more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system.

As a result of the investigation Jamie Craft, 25, of Ferndale Avenue, was arrested and charged with impaired driving and care or control over 80mgs.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on June 21, 2018.
