Saturday August 10, 2019 8 a.m. to Sunday August 11, 2019 8 a.m.- 82

Sunday August 11, 2019 8 a.m. to Monday August 12, 2019 8 a.m.- 73

Arrest on Warrant:

On July 30, 2019 an arrest warrant was issued for the accused for Break and Enter and Theft Under $5000.

On August 11, 2019 officers attended a Parkhill Road West residence looking for the accused. The accused was inside but uncooperative. Police obtained an entry warrant and located the accused hiding in a closet. During the arrest police seized a knife from the accused.

Terina Tugwell age 31, of no fixed arrest has also been charged with Carrying a Concealed weapon (Knife). The accused was held in custody and appeared in court on August 12, 2019.

Kids ‘ n’ Cops Week:

From August 12, 2019 to August 16, 2019 Peterborough Police, in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters are hosting 20 Peterborough area children for the annual Kids’’ Cops week long camp. The children ages range from 8-13 years.

During the week the children participate in various activities at Cedar Park, Medieval Times, K-9 presentation and many other fun educational activities.

This provides an opportunity for civilian and sworn members of the Police Service to interact and build rapport with youth in our community.

Kids’n’Cops is a nationally recognized program organized by Big Brothers Big Sisters in partnership with local police agencies.
