Break and Enter: George Street North restaurant

The Peterborough Police Service is investigating following a break-in at a George Street North restaurant.

At approximately 3:50 a.m. on November 8, 2019 a restaurant on George Street North was broken into and items including cash, bottles of alcohol and several computer tablets were stolen.

Drug arrest:

A 37-year-old Peterborough man is facing drug charges after heroin, cocaine and oxycodone were found in his possession.

On November 7, 2019 officers were at a Peterborough residence on another matter. While at the residence officers located the accused, who was wanted on a warrant for breach of probation, and the accused was placed under arrest.

While in custody at the police station the accused was found to be in possession of heroin, cocaine and oxycodone.

As a result of the investigation Robert Joseph Feeley, 37, of Murray Street, is charged with the following:

* Possession of a schedule I substance X3

* Fail to comply with a probation order X2

The accused was held in custody and appeared in court on November 11, 2019.
