Thursday December 5, 2019 – Police investigating after fish pendant containing ashes of loved one stolen from vehicle

The Peterborough Police Service is investigating after a fish pendant containing the ashes of a loved one was stolen during a vehicle break-in.

During the evening hours of November 24, 2019 to November 25, 2019 an unknown person entered a vehicle parked at a McClennan Street home and stole various items including loose change and car charges. During the theft the victim reported that a necklace with a stainless steel fish pendant containing a portion of the ashes from a deceased loved one was also stolen.
