Wednesday February 12, 2020 – Peterborough man charged after failing to comply with conditions to not have contact with children under 16 years of age

Fail to Comply Arrest:

A 38-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after failing to comply with conditions and a probation order to not have contact with persons under 16 years of age.

On January 29, 2020 police received information that the accused was breaching his conditions to not have any contact or communication by any means with persons under 16 years of age.

On January 30, 2020 officers located the accused in the area of Monaghan Road and Parkhill Road where he was placed under arrest.

Christopher Adam Hardy, 38, of Parkhill Road West, was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Fail to comply with prohibition regarding children
  • Fail to comply with a probation order

The accused appeared in court on January 31, 2020 where the additional charges were read.
