Wednesday March 25, 2020 – Two Peterborough men facing charges following incident at Dalhousie Street residence

Aggravated Assault Arrests:

Two Peterborough men are facing charges including aggravated assault and break and enter following a Tuesday night incident at a multi-unit residence on Dalhousie Street.

On March 24, 2020 at approximately 10:30 p.m. police and EMS were dispatched to a multi-unit residence on Dalhousie Street in response to a disturbance. Information was then received that persons had broken into one of the units and assaulted the male adult victim. The parties involved know each other and the incident appears to be drug related. The victim was transported via ambulance to a local hospital for assessment and treatment to his injuries. Officers located the two male suspects inside another unit at the residence.

As a result of the investigation the following persons were arrested and charged:

Larry Robert Tripp, 49, of Dalhousie Street, is charged with the following:

  • Aggravated assault
  • Assault causing bodily harm – choke, suffocate or strangle
  • Break and enter

Andrew Gordon Perry, 61, of Dalhousie Street, is charged with the following:

  • Aggravated assault
  • Assault with a weapon (hammer)
  • Break and enter

Both accused were held in custody and are scheduled to appear in court today (March 25).
