Possession Stolen Property:

On September 14, 2020 just after 4 am officers observed a suspicious male walking around a property on Bissonnette Drive. When approached by officers the male advised he did not live in the area. After further investigation officers discovered the male was currently on release conditions with a curfew.

The male was placed under arrest and searched. Officers located a spring loaded knife attached to the males belt and property stolen from a vehicle.

Scott Rossiter, age 31 was arrested and charged with trespassing at Night, Breach of a release order, Carrying a concealed weapon and Possession of property obtained by crime.

Rossiter was held in custody for a bail hearing on Monday September 14, 2020.

Utter Threats:

On Friday September 11, 2020 the accused attended the victim’s residence. The accused believed the victim was responsible for having the accused vehicle towed from the residence. A verbal argument occurred. During the argument the accused threatened to “Kill” the victim.

Later, the same day the accused approached the victim again and this time threatened the victim with a weapon. After the second incident police were called.

As a result of the investigation Michael MacKenzie age, 25 has been charged with uttering threats, Assault with a weapon, Breach of probation and Failing to comply with a weapons prohibition. The accused was held in custody.

Theft Investigation:

On September 13, 2020 the accused was observed inside of a retail outlet on Chemong Road. The accused selected merchandise and placed the items in a bag. The accused exited the store without paying for the items. The accused was approached by store employees, outside in the parking lot and placed under arrested for theft.

While the accused was being escorted back into the store, the accused attempted to flee and resist the arrest. During the struggle the accused attempted to punch store employees. Employees were able to control and hold the accused until police attended.

David Stocks, age 35 has been charged with Assault with intent to resist arrest, Theft under $5,000, and Breach of probation.

On September 14, 2020 the accused was released from custody on conditions.
