Break and Enter and Theft of Dog:

Sometime between 1:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on September 10, 2020, unknown person(s) entered a home on Park Street and took a Dog.

The dog is part Husky and Part Hound with the name “Lucy”. (See attached picture)

Domestic Aggravated Assault Arrest:

A 23-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges including domestic aggravated assault and domestic assault cause bodily harm following an investigation.

On September 3, 2020 at approximately 1:45 a.m. Peterborough Police attended a Peterborough residence in response to a female found in medical distress.  The female victim was transported to hospital where she remains in serious condition.

As a result of the investigation a 23-year-old man was arrested on September 10, 2020 and charged with aggravated assault and assault cause bodily harm (domestic).

The accused was held in custody and appeared in court where he was remanded until today, September 11, 2020.

In order to protect the identity of the victim in this domestic incident, the name of the accused will not be released.
