A 30-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after a recent incident involving a young girl.
On December 30, 2021, officers were made aware of a number of incidents over a period of several months involving a 13-year-old girl.
As a result of an investigation, 30-year-old Harshitkumar Patel of Peterborough was arrested and charged with:
- Sexual Interference
- Sexual Assault
The accused was held in custody and appeared in court on December 31, 2021, at which time they were released and are scheduled to appear in court on January 13, 2022.
