Impaired Over 80mgs Arrest

A 26-year-old Lindsay woman is facing impaired and dangerous driving charges after an incident on Water Street just north of Peterborough’s downtown.

Just before midnight on December 8, 2020, police were called to an apartment complex on Water Street North after resident complained of a disturbance in the parking lot.

As a result of an investigation, 26-year-old Cyantel Carriere of Lindsay was arrested and charged with:

  • Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
  • Operation of a motor vehicle while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80mgs

The accused is schedule to appear in court on January 12, 2021.

 

Break and Enter Arrest: Lansdowne Street West

A 31-year-old Peterborough man is facing a break and enter charge after he was found in an empty Lansdowne Street West apartment.

The accused is currently bound by a probation order to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. 

At approximately, 7:30pm on December 8, 2020, police arrived at the apartment building after a call about a break and enter in progress. 

As a result of an investigation, 31-year-old Robert Carrol-England of Peterborough was arrested and charged with:

  • Break and Enter with intent
  • Fail to comply with probation

The accused was held in custody and will appear in court today, December 9, 2020.
