Break & Enter Arrest
A 38-year-old Peterborough woman is facing a charge of break and enter and assault after an incident Thursday evening.
At approximately 6:20pm on January 21, 2021, officers were called to residence in the Park Street North and Sherbrooke Street area about a disturbance. Through investigation police learned that the accused forced her way into the victim’s residence to retrieve a child that had sought shelter during the disturbance.
As a result, a 38-year-old woman is facing a charge of break and enter and assault.
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on February 16, 2021.
In order to protect the identity of the victim in this domestic dispute, the name of the accused will not be released.
