Two Peterborough men are facing charges in connection with an incident during a convoy event on Saturday.
On Saturday, February 19, 2022, Peterborough Police were made aware of an incident at Brealey Drive and Stenson Boulevard between a counter protester and a person in the convoy. An officer was assigned to review and investigate the incident.
As a result,
A 34-year-old Peterborough man with the convoy was arrested and charged with assault.
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court March 8, 2022.
A 33-year-old Peterborough man who was a counter protestor was arrested and charged with intimidation – blocks or obstructs a highway.
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on March 10, 2022.
