Peterborough Police warning motorists to drive with caution this morning (Wed 23 Feb). There are reports of icy conditions in the area.

Motor Vehicle Collision – Zion Line
Peterborough Police were called to investigate after a school bus went off the road Tuesday afternoon.
At approximately 4:00pm on February 22, 2022, officers were called after a bus slid off the road and onto its side at the bottom of a hill on Zion Line between County Road 10 and Carveth Drive. The bus was carrying six children and the driver. The bus driver and two children were taken to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre with minor injuries.
There were poor road and weather conditions at the time. The area was closed for a bit while the bus was removed, and the road sanded and salted.
No charges are being laid at this time.
