Assault Arrest
A 67-year-old Peterborough man is facing an assault charge after an incident Tuesday morning.
At approximately 10:15am on July 12, 2022, officers responded to a call at a residence in the Lansdowne Street and George Street area. Upon arrival, officers learned that two residents had become involved in an altercation over noise and that one had kicked and scratched the other before leaving the residence. Officers located the suspect several blocks away and the took him into custody.
As a result of the investigation, a 67-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Assault
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on August 2, 2022.
Mischief Arrest
A 43-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after an incident in Peterborough Tuesday afternoon.
At approximately 1:00pm on July 12, 2022, officers were called to the area of Millennium Park in the King Street and Water Street area about a male taking copper pieces off a wall. When the officers arrived, the male took off. Officers caught up to the male and he was taken into custody without incident.
As a result, a 43-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Mischief under $5000
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on August 3, 2022.
Mischief Arrest
A 20-year-old Peterborough woman is facing charges after an incident Tuesday afternoon.
At approximately 4:45pm on July 12, 2022, officers were called to the area of Brock Street and Aylmer Street. Upon arrival, they learned that a woman had thrown a rock at a building breaking a window and was being aggressive. The officers located a woman matching the description given to police a short distance away and took her into custody without incident.
As a result of the investigation, a 20-year-old Peterborough woman arrested and charged with:
- Mischief under $5000
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on August 3, 2022.
Break & Enter Suspect Sought
Peterborough Police is investigation after a residential break and enter in Peterborough.
On July 12, 2022, officers were made aware of the incident which happened in the Chemong Road and Milroy Drive area. Upon arrival officers learned that someone had been in the house and had left with some jewelry and clothing. It’s believed it happened between Friday, July 8, 2022 and Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

Mischief Suspect Sought
Peterborough Police is investigating after an incident at a Peterborough business.
Through on online report, officers were made aware of the incident in the Goodfellow Road and Clonsilla Avenue area. It is believed the incident happened over the weekend July 8 - July 11, 2022. The report indicates someone entered a fenced in area and caused about $5000 in damage.

Break & Enter Suspect Sought
Peterborough Police is investigating after a break and enter to a Peterborough business.
At approximately 8:15am on July 12, 2022, officers received an alarm call from a business in the Lansdowne Street and Goodfellow Road area. Upon arrival, officers noticed a broken window and that the business had been rummaged through, however, nothing appeared to be missing.
