Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Arrest:

A 21-year-old Barrie woman is facing charges following a traffic stop where police located cocaine inside the vehicle.

On September 9, 2020 at approximately 11:45 p.m. Peterborough Police stopped a vehicle that was driving the wrong way on a one way street (Rubidge Street).

The investigation revealed that the driver had in her possession cocaine, scales and a large quantity of cash.

As a result of the investigation, Tiaralynn Jones of Barrie Ontario was arrested and charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on November 10, 2020.
