In-Car Camera System Now Operational for Peterborough Police Service
The Peterborough Police Service is excited to announce that their In-Car Camera System is now operational.
Cameras have been installed and officers have been trained on the system which is in all marked and some unmarked cruisers. Assault Arrest
A 28-year-old Peterborough man is facing several charges after an incident Thursday afternoon.
On June 8, 2023, officers were made aware of a domestic incident between a male and a female in which the woman was physically assaulted and verbally threatened by her partner. During the exchange the male would not allow her to leave their bedroom. The female managed to escape and contact police.

Homicide Investigation Update - Arrest
An arrest has been made in the homicide of Sarah King, a 36-year-old Peterborough woman.
At approximately 2:20am on Friday, June 2, 2023, officers were called to the area of Wolfe Street and Aylmer Street about reports of multiple gun shots. Upon arrival officers located a victim who was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre and later pronounced dead.

The Peterborough Police Service is investigating after a pedestrian was struck in Peterborough Wednesday night.
