Robbery Suspect Sought
Peterborough Police investigating after a street robbery Thursday evening.
At approximately 6:00pm on June 9, 2022, officers were called to the area of Water Street and Dublin Street. Police Pursuit Arrest
A 21-year-old Brampton man is facing a number of charges after a brief police pursuit Wednesday evening.
At approximately 8:30pm on June 8, 2022, officers on patrol observed some suspicious activity at a residence and noticed two males leave and get into a vehicle. Officers saw the vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign in the Park Place and Sherbrooke Street area and attempted to conduct a traffic stop....

Pedestrian Struck
Peterborough Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck in the Parkhill and Monaghan Road area.
The 92-year-old female pedestrian was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment.
The 51-year-old driver of the vehicle was charged with fail to yield to pedestrian under the Highway Traffic Act.
The intersection is now reopened.

Shooting Incident Suspect Sought
Peterborough Police are investigating after a man was found with gunshot wounds early Wednesday morning.
At approximately 1:00am on June 8, 2022, officers were called to the area of Park Street and Romaine Street. Upon arrival, officers located a man with gunshot wounds to the leg. The victim was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre for treatment of his injuries.

A 40-year-old Peterborough woman is facing several charges after an incident involving a fraudulent cheque.
