B&E Arrest

A 28-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges in connection with two recent incidents.

At approximately 12:30am on October 28, 2025, officers were called to the area of Simcoe Street and Aylmer Street about an unwanted person.  Officers located a man matching the description given to police and recognized that the man was also wanted in connection with a break and enter as well as theft from vehicles.

Assault Incident

A man is at Peterborough Regional Health Centre with non-life-threatening injuries after an incident early Saturday morning.

At approximately 5:20am on October 25, 2025, officers were called to a hotel in the Fisher Drive and The Parkway area about a disturbance in a room.  Upon arrival, officers located the victim and are currently searching for several suspects.  A weapon was also found at the scene.  It is believed this was a targeted incident.

Warrant/Drug Arrest

A 43-year-old Peterborough man wanted on warrants is now facing more charges.

At approximately 12:40pm on October 23, 2025, officers on bike patrol in the Bethune Street and Brock Street area spotted the man and took him into custody on the strength of the warrants.  During a search after arrest, officers located a quantity of drugs in a backpack. 

They seized:

  • 37.7 grams of Cocaine
  • 7.6 grams of Fentanyl
  • 10 Hydromorphone...
