Drug Warrant Arrest
Three people are facing charges after a drug warrant was conducted at a Peterborough residence Friday.
On Friday, February 13, 2026, as part of an ongoing investigation, officers with the Drug Unit and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) searched an apartment in the Talwood Drive and Goodfellow Road area.
As a result, officers took three people into custody and seized:
- 23.2 grams of Fentanyl
- 5.6 grams of Cocaine

Water Rescue
Peterborough Police Officers attended the area of Lock 19 in Peterborough this afternoon (February 17, 2026) at approximately 12:30pm. Upon arrival, they located an individual who had gone into the water. They were able to throw the person some ropes to grab onto. Peterborough Fire Services arrived and together the individual was brought to safety. The individual was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
