Grandparent Scam Arrest

A 26-year-old Hamilton man has been charged in connection with a Grandparent Scam incident in January. 

On January 23, 2023, a resident was contacted and told their grandson had been arrested.  $18,000 was exchanged before it was learned it was a scam.  Through investigation by the Fraud Unit the suspect was identified and on Thursday, February 16, 2023, he turned himself in to Peterborough Police.

Assault Arrest

A 24-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after a domestic incident early Wednesday morning.
