Prohibited Driver Arrest

A 22-year-old Peterborough man is facing a charge after an incident Wednesday afternoon.

At approximately 1:30pm on October 15, 2025, an officer on general patrol in the Sherbrooke Street and George Street area was alerted by Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) that the driver of the vehicle in front of them was a suspended driver. Crime Stoppers provides citizens with a vehicle to anonymously supply the police with information about a crime or potential crime of which they have knowledge. Cash rewards are offered to people who call the program and their information leads to an arrest.
