Drug Arrest

A 46-year-old Peterborough woman is facing drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop Monday morning.

At approximately 9:30am on Monday, December 15, 2025, an officer on general patrol conducted a traffic stop in the area of Rubidge Street and Charlotte Street.  It was further learned that the driver was a suspended driver and took her into custody. Homicide Investigation - Update

Investigators with the Peterborough Police Service have identified three suspects wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred on Saturday, December 6, 2025. 

At approximately 6:00am on December 6th, officers were called to, 212 Brock Street, an apartment building in the Brock Street and Aylmer Street area where a man with severe head injuries was located in an apartment.  Despite life-saving efforts, the 33-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Festive RIDE

Officers with the Peterborough Police Service conducted Festive RIDE checks over the weekend.

They set up in seven different locations with the following results:

• 985 vehicles were stopped
• 56 Roadside Tests were administered
• 1 warn was issued
• 1 Liquor License Act ticket issued
• 3 Highway Traffic Act tickets issued

Fail to Remain Collision Information Sought

The Peterborough Police Service is currently investigating a Fail to Remain collision that occurred on December 3, 2025 at the intersection of Parkhill Road and Ravenwood Drive in Peterborough.
