Drug Arrest

A 48-year-old Peterborough man is facing drug trafficking charges.

At approximately 10:50am on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, after ongoing investigations into drug trafficking in the city of Peterborough, members of the Peterborough Police Service Drug Unit conducted an investigation in the area of Reid Street and McDonnel Street. As a result, a man was taken into custody.

Traffic Initiative – Stop Signs

Officers with the Peterborough Police Service Traffic Unit conducted a traffic blitz in the subdivision in the area of Lily Lake Road and York Drive in mid-June. 

In all, tickets were issued for:

  • Failing to stop (9)
  • Careless Driving (1)
  • Brake lights not working
  • Insecure load
  • No muffler
  • Improper Emission equipment

Stolen Vehicles

Officers with the Peterborough Police Service are investigating after two thefts of Toyota vehicles were reported.
