Warrant Arrest

A 26-year-old Keene man wanted on a warrant was arrested over the weekend and is facing another charge.

On Saturday, March 15, 2025, officers were called to a residence on Aylmer Street for a noise complaint about a party.  Upon arrival, officers were able to address the noise issue and while they were there were informed of a man in the crowd who was not wanted and would not leave despite being asked.  Through investigation...

Missing Person

The Peterborough Police Service and Kingston Police Service are asking for the public’s help in locating a 49-year-old woman.

Shannon Mingo was last seen in Kingston on January 25, 2025, in the area of Charles Street and Montreal Street.  The Kingston Police Service issued a media release at the time, however, she is yet to be located and is known to have ties to the Peterborough area.

Mingo is described as (photos for assistance):

  • 5’0 with a medium build
  • Shoulder length red dyed hair

RIDE Detail – St. Patrick’s Day Weekend

Officers with the Peterborough Police Service conducted two RIDE details over the weekend. 

In total 1,194 vehicles were stopped in three different locations in the City of Peterborough. 

On Saturday night:

  • 200 vehicles were checked
  • 15 sobriety tests were administered

Drug Arrest

A 35-year-old Peterborough man is facing drug trafficking charges after an investigation by the Peterborough Police Service Drug Unit over the winter of 2025.

On Thursday, March 13, 2025, a male was taken into custody without incident by the Emergency Response Team. Officers with the Drug Unit then conducted a search warrant at a home on Goodfellow Road near St. Mary’s Street.  

During the search officers seized:

  • Cocaine – 790 grams
  • Fentanyl – 80 grams
  • Crystal meth – 1000 grams
  • Hydromorphine...
