Shooting Suspect Sought
The Peterborough Police Service is searching for a suspect after a shooting early Saturday morning.
Just after midnight on June 15, 2024, a woman attended Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) with two gunshot wounds. The female victim was flown to a Toronto hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
This is believed to be a targeted incident.

A 22-year-old Boston, MA, USA man is facing fraud charges in connection with a rental scam in Peterborough.
On June 10, 2024, the Peterborough Police Fraud Unit was made aware of two reported incidents of fraud through a rental scam.
