Stunt Driving Arrest
An 18-year-old driver is facing a stunt driving charge after a stop on Water Street Thursday evening.
At approximately 6:30pm on September 18, 2025, an officer was on general patrol in the area of Water Street and Marina Blvd. A vehicle was recorded going 113 km/hr in a 50km/hr zone. The officer activated their emergency lights and conducted a traffic stop.

Bank Investigator Scam Suspect Sought
Officers with the Peterborough Police Service are investigating after several reports came in about the bank investigator scam have come in over the last two weeks.
In one case, the suspect posed as a representative from a banking institution, attended a Peterborough retirement home, and picked up the 91-year-old victim’s bank card and VISA. It was later determined that there were purchases on the VISA card and ATM withdrawal of about $3000.

Wanted Man Arrested
The 34-year-old man who was the subject of a large-scale police search that started yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, September 16, 2025) has been arrested. He was located and taken into custody about 11:10am on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
