Collision – Woodglade Boulevard - Update

The Peterborough Police Service is saddened to report that this morning’s collision on Woodglade Boulevard has resulted in the death of a child.

At approximately 9:00am on Thursday, March 23, 2023, officers were called to a motor vehicle collision. A vehicle came off the road and struck a 3-year-old girl in the driveway of the residence.  The child was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries and has since succumbed to those injuries.  No one else was injured in the collision. 

The Peterborough Police Service Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating.   The area will be closed as the investigation continues.

Peterborough Police Service is investigating after a collision on Woodglade Boulevard in Peterborough Thursday morning. 

The collision happened around 9:00am between Kawartha Heights Boulevard and Sherbrooke Street and involved a young child.

The Peterborough Police Service collision reconstruction unit is investigating.  

The area is expected to be closed while the investigation is underway.
