Breach of Probation Arrest
A 20-year-old Peterborough man is facing a charge in connection with not following a probation order.
At approximately 7:30pm on Thursday, August 7, 2025, an officer on general patrol in the Brock Street and Aylmer Street area spotted a man in the park acting strangely and throwing a knife into the ground. Officers were able to take the male into custody without incident and learned that he was bound by a probation order with the following condition: to not possess knives.
As a result of the investigation, a 20-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Fail to comply with probation order
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, August 8, 2025.
