Stabbing          

A 30-year-old Peterborough male is facing weapons charges after police responded to a report of a stabbing.

On November 8th at approximately 3:30am Peterborough Police officers responded to the area of Aylmer St and Wolfe St after a report of a stabbing. Officers located two individuals with stab wounds who were in a verbal argument with a person known to them that turned physical. The two victims were taken to the hospital for treatment. The suspect was located in the area and taken into custody.

 As a result of the investigation, a 30-year-old Peterborough male was arrested and charges with:

  • Assault with a Weapon x 2
  • Possession of Weapons for Dangerous Purpose
  • Fail to comply with Undertaking

The accused was held in custody and appeared in Weekend and Statutory Holiday (WASH) court on November 8, 2025.

MVC

On November 9th at approximately 12:05pm a collision involving a scooter and motor vehicle occurred on Crawford Dr in the area of Johnston Dr. The driver of the scooter suffered serious injuries and was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre before being transferred to a Toronto hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who witnessed this collision or has video of it on a dash-cam is asked to contact the Peterborough Police Service Traffic Unit at 705-876-1122 ext. 289.
