Impaired Arrest
A 30-year-old Peterborough woman is facing an impaired charge after an incident Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 3:15pm on April 29, 2026, officers were called to the Brookdale Plaza parking lot about a person slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle with the vehicle running. Upon arrival, officers were able to rouse the individual and noticed signs of impairment.
As a result of the investigation, a 30-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested and charged with:
- Operation while impaired - blood drug concentration
The accused was issued an automatic 90-day license suspension and seven-day vehicle impoundment.
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court June 9, 2026.
