Impaired Arrest
A 24-year-old Millbrook man is facing an impaired charge after a traffic stop early Thursday morning.
At approximately 12:30am on March 26, 2026, officers were called by a concerned resident about a possible impaired driver in the area of George Street and Sherbrooke Street. Officers arrived in the area on spotted a vehicle matching the description given to police, on Aylmer Street. They conducted a traffic stop and when speaking to the driver noticed signs of impairment.
As a result of the investigation, a 24-year-old Millbrook man was arrested and charged with:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused was handed a 90-day license suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment.
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court May 5, 2026.
