Suspicious Death Investigation
Officers with the Peterborough Police Service are assisting the Coroner’s Office with a suspicious death investigation at a Peterborough residence.
There is expected to be ongoing police presence in the area of Charlotte Street and Rubidge Street.
At this time, one person is in custody and police are not looking for any other suspects.
There are no further details being released at this time.
Homicide - August 3, 2025 – Update #3
One of the teens charged in connection with the death of a 25-year-old Peterborough man earlier this month is facing another charge.
Since the incident happened on Sunday, August 3, 2025, detectives with the Investigative Services Unit have continued their investigation.
As a result, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, they further charged a 17-year-old Peterborough male with:
- Manslaughter
The teen is already facing a charge of:
- Accessory after the fact
He appeared in court today, August 12, 2025.
