Traffic Initiative – Stop Signs
Officers with the Peterborough Police Service Traffic Unit conducted a traffic blitz in the subdivision in the area of Lily Lake Road and York Drive in mid-June.
In all, tickets were issued for:
- Failing to stop (9)
- Careless Driving (1)
- Brake lights not working
- Insecure load
- No muffler
- Improper Emission equipment
A reminder to motorists to be aware of stop signs in neighbourhoods, to stop and look before proceeding.
Thank you for your attention and to help keep our roads safe for everyone. The Traffic Unit will continue to conduct initiatives throughout the year.
