Theft Arrest
A 36-year-old Peterborough woman is facing charges after an incident in early April.
At approximately 3:30pm on Monday, May 12, 2025, officers on general patrol spotted a woman wanted in connection with a theft incident at a local business walking in the area of Aylmer Street and King Street. Officers took the woman into custody without incident.
As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested and charged with:
- Theft Under $5000
- Failure to comply with release order - other than to attend court
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused is currently bound by a probation order with the following condition: to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
The accused is currently bound by a release order with the following condition: to not attend the business in this incident.
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court May 13, 2025.
