Drug Arrest
A 55-year-old Peterborough man is facing drug trafficking charges after police were called to a parking lot.
At approximately 4:50pm on November 4, 2025, officers received a call about a possible impaired driver in the area of Sheridan Street and Hunter Street. Upon arrival, officers located a man passed out half sitting in a vehicle that had not been running. During a search of the vehicle after arrest officers located and seized:
- 54gram of Fentanyl
- 15.3grams of Crystal Methamphetamine
- 85 capsules of Hydromorphone
- 14 unknown pills - tablets
- 7 unknown pills - red tablets
- Two knives
- Drug paraphernalia
- Canadian Currency
As a result of the investigation, a 55-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs (Fentanyl)
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs (Hydromorphone)
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking - Methamphetamine
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, November 5, 2025.
Robbery Arrest
A 17-year-old Peterborough male is facing a charge after an investigation into a recent street-level robbery.
At approximately 12:16am on Saturday, October 25, 2025, officers took a call about the incident that happened in the area Hunter Street West and Aylmer Street in which the victim was punched in the head several times and had their shoes and backpack stolen. Through investigation suspects were identified and on November 4, 2025, officers with the Street Crime Unit attended a residence and took one of suspects into custody.
As a result of the investigation, a 17-year-old Peterborough male was arrested and charged with:
- Robbery with Violence
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, November 5, 2025.
Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the name of the accused cannot be released.
