Shuttle Run Training Group
This group is an opportunity to connect with our Recruitment Team and test yourself on the physical requirements for policing.
The Peterborough Police Service is hosting the group in partnership with Fleming College and the Police Foundations course.
Interested participants will be asked to complete their online registration through a QR code provided on arrival to the gym and prior to beginning the Shuttle Run and PREP session with no further forms or reporting required.
**Please note that attending this group and achieving a 7 in the Shuttle Run is an amazing accomplishment! However, you will still be required to run and complete the Shuttle Run should you be selected to start the recruitment process**

| Tips for Testing |
|
Can be found under the Police Fitness Personnel Ontario Website at: https://pfpo.org/ontario-police-fitness-pin-award-program/# Come prepared to pass. Please review the testing process (PFPO Link) and practice to understand your limits. Please: Do not use any energy drinks / ephedrine / caffeine etc prior to the testing. Far too often candidates are excluded from the testing due to having not passed the prescreening.
HR max is 99 BPM BP max is 160/90 Such substances combined with the normal day stress can easily cause one’s levels to soar. One cannot complete the test if prescreen limits exceed the limit. |
