Peterborough Police is investigating after a shooting on Park Street North Saturday afternoon.  It’s not considered an active shooter situation.  One person was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre and succumbed to their injuries.   There will be an increased police presence in the area of Park Street and Sherbrooke Street as the investigation continues. Peterborough Police are investigating after a Peterborough business was broken into Tuesday evening.

Weapons/Threats Arrest

A 34-year-old Peterborough man is facing numerous charges after an incident Tuesday. 

Just before noon on June 28, 2022, officers were made aware of a domestic-related incident in which a firearm was pointed at one of the victims.  No one was injured in the incident.

A 38-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after Peterborough Police were called to a break and enter in progress early Tuesday morning.

At approximately 12:20 am on June 28, 2022, officers received a call about a man inside a business in the Clonsilla Avenue and Goodfellow Road area.
