Peterborough Police Service is reminding residents what they can do if they spot a bear in their area after a black bear was spotted in the west end of the City of Peterborough recently.

 Media Release: Firearms Call Northcrest Plaza:

On June 24, 2022 just after 12 noon Peterborough Police responded to the parking lot at Northcrest Plaza, 184 Marina Blvd regarding a possible shooting involving two male suspects, wearing balaclavas. One of the males was in possession of a rifle and discharged the rifle into a crowd of youths in the parking lot.
