A 30-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after a series of incidents were reported.

Theft Arrest
A 37-year-old Peterborough woman is facing charges after an incident Tuesday evening.
At approximately 7:30pm on December 17, 2024, officers responded to a call for service about a theft in progress. Upon arrival, officers learned that a female had already left the store in the Charlotte Street and Aylmer Street area. A 47-year-old Kingston man has been charged with sexual assault after an incident in Peterborough last Tuesday afternoon.
At approximately 7:50pm on December 10, 2024, officers were made aware of an incident that had happened earlier in the afternoon involving a part-time course instructor at Trent University in the Mathematics Department and a student. Festive RIDE
The Peterborough Police Service conducted a FESTIVE Ride check stop Saturday evening in the area of Water Street and Carnegie Avenue in Peterborough.
In total:
- 630 vehicles were checked
- 2 warning were issued with a 3-day license suspension
- 1 driver was ticketed for driving with a suspended license
