The Peterborough Police Service is no longer looking for the wanted person who was the subject of a media release issued on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. The Special Investigations Unit has invoked their mandate, in relation to the conclusion of this matter, and the Service is unable to speak to the details of this incident.

Drugs/Weapons Seized During Search Warrants

A drug trafficking investigation by the Peterborough Police Service Criminal Investigation Unit has resulted in the seizure of drugs, weapons, and ammunition.

Stolen Vehicle Investigation

The Peterborough Police Service is investigating after three mini track loaders were stolen from a business over the weekend.

On Monday, January 29, 2024, officers were made aware of the theft which is believed to have happened in the area of the North Monaghan Parkway and Elmdale Road on Saturday, January 27, 2024 around 6:30am.

Possession of Stolen Property/Drugs/Weapon Arrest

Two people in their 30’s from Peterborough are facing charges after a traffic stop by the Community FIRST team.
