Investigation

The Peterborough Police Service is investigating after two officers on general foot patrol in the area of the trail between Monaghan Road and Romaine Street heard what they thought to be a gunshot. 

The incident happened about 1:20pm on Monday, October 28, 2024.

Break and Enter Suspect Sought

The Peterborough Police Service is investigating after a residential break and enter Saturday evening.

At approximately 10:50pm on October 26, 2024, officers were called to the area of Cambridge Street and Murray Street about a break and enter in progress in which the 87-year-old homeowner had awoken to someone in their house....

Break and Enter Arrest

A 34-year-old Peterborough man is facing a charge after an incident Thursday night.

At approximately 10:30pm on October 24, 2024, officers were called to the Reid Street and London Street area about an unwanted man in a ski mask who forced open a door to a building and left with some items.  Upon arrival, officers located a man matching the description given to police a short distance away.  The items reported stolen were seized to be returned to the owner.

Impaired Arrest

A 45-year-old Curve Lake man is facing an impaired charge after an incident Wednesday afternoon.
