Community Safety Map
The Peterborough Police Service is committed to keeping the City of Peterborough, Village of Lakefield, and Township of Cavan-Monaghan some of the safest places to live in Canada.
The goal of this interactive tool is to improve community awareness of police activity and engage citizens in crime prevention strategies so that we can work in partnership to build safer communities.

Privacy |
To protect privacy, no personal or identifying information is included. To anonymize the location of the occurrence the point on the map will be relocated to the closest intersection or street segment and should be considered approximate; any attempts to derive a specific address are strictly prohibited. Highly-populated areas or areas with a high-volume of foot traffic (i.e. shopping areas, entertainment facilities, schools, parks, main roads, densely populated neighbourhoods etc.) may have more reported incidents. This does not necessarily mean that there is a disproportionate amount of crime in these areas. |
Official Crime Statistics |
Crime types may change during an investigation. The map information does not represent our official crime statistics. View our Annual Reports page for that information. |
